November 12, 2009 It has been a long time since I uploaded any work to this site. I haven't drawn much in all this time. However I have recently completed a drawing I made as a wedding gift for two good friends of mine. It can be seen under "Gallery" and under "2009". It is the only drawing I have up for 2009 (so far). August 29, 2007 Decided to revamp the website a bit. I like the changes. :D August 25, 2007 Haven't had much time to work on the site or my artwork. New pieces will be comming soon after I'm settled in (just moved across the country...lots of unpacking). November 3, 2006 Finally added something to the site. Personal problems and general life stuff kept me from drawing for quite a few months. But I'm back! I've added a drawing I did for a friend as a "thank you". June 27, 2006 Changed some stuff on the site. Removed a few drawings which I feel aren't up to par. Debating about removing some more. June 26, 2006 Just uploaded my third oil pastel. I am really happy with how it came out. Unfortunatly some of the detail was lost in the photograph. My scanner is acting up and until I can figure out why I'll have to take photographs of my work. Just as well. The paper is so big it would've taken 9 scans. lol June 24, 2006 Did my first oil pastel painting. Have a long way to go before I can do color portraits but that's what practicing is for. June 22, 2006 Just uploaded a picture I drew of my friend Bobby. I love how it came out. One of my best works! I've also been commissioned to do works for two people. Looking forward to getting started on it. June 21, 2006 Colored in Kieriana Beach in photoshop and uploaded it onto the site. I really like the way it came out. June 20, 2006 Just drew a self portrait that was fantasied up a bit. I really like how it came out except for the antennae. Something about them just doesn't look right and I'm having trouble fixing it. June 17, 2006 Drew a picture of my friend Jesse. He wanted somethig to give is Mom and I was running out of ideas to draw. So, there it was. lol June 14, 2006 Updated a new drawing of my daughter playing at the beach. One of my best works yet. Thinking of actually doing this professionally. Today someone asked me to do a commissioned work of her son when he is born. Woohoo January 30, 2006 Was comissioned to do some work for a friend. Just uploaded the image to the site of what I did. I'm on a roll! I'm considering taking down my old stuff as my style has changed and become...well...better. For now I'm leaving it up to show the progression of my talent. January 29, 2006 I drew a picture of my daughter and myself and added it to the site. It may have been a while since I updated last, but the drawing bug has hit me again. June 8, 2005 I just drew a picture of my son. You can find it here. Also made some minor changes to the site. Fixed stuff and whatnot. June 3, 2005 I changed around some things and I'll be changing some more. : ) Mostly I changed the menu thumbnails. The way it was seemed...well not right. I'm also in the process of drawing some more to share here. It'll take time. The life of a Mom seems to 6take over sometimes. lol June 1, 2005 Once again it's been a while since I updated. I just did another drawing and I'm going to try to do more. I've noticed that my style has become...well...better. I've decided to leave the old stuff up to show the progression of my work. March 30, 2004 Finally found Catsit and updated it. I also tweaked the site a bit more. Changed the galleries so that it's more by genre rather than by year. March 27, 2004 I just created a DeviantArt profile. Took me a while to figure the site out but once I did I had fun! Wheee! I also finished another drawing for Brett. March 25, 2004 I have NO idea what I was thinking with the last drawing I put up. It's not my best work...not even good work. So, I took it down. March 24, 2004 I drew this awesome pic and ruined it by painting it in watercolor. lol I think I need a class in painting. I also tweaked the site a bit more. March 19, 2004 I finally got a scanner and so I just updated all the images here. YAY! March 17, 2004 I've been experimenting with manga lately and just finished a new drawing. It's a comedic piece. Hope you enjoy it. :) I also finally uploaded Amazon Waterfall. March 9, 2004 Just played around with the site a bit to try and make it look better. I'm always fiddling with something. :) Now off to finish my newest drawing...or at least attempt to. :) Finished the new piece today. Re-colored Uoko using some new techniques I learned. I've also started selling some of my work as prints and cards. March 8, 2004 I was drawing a bit while on vacation. I just colonized one of the drawings and added it here. March 7, 2004 Just got back from vacation and found that my Elfwood profile has been accepted. Looking at it I realize how far I've come and how far I still need to go. February 25, 2004 I found a site that explains about copyright laws and found out that I can put the © sign on my artwork. February 24, 2004 Just finished a new piece. It's my first landscape work and is also an experiment for me. February 23, 2004 Added color to Forbiden Lovers. Not much else done. Added my fantasy work to Elfwood. The site is moderated so I'll have to wait before my profile on there shows up. February 22, 2004 Changed some more things around with the site. Tweaking to get it just right. Soon I'll be adding a new piece to the gallery as well. Finished my newest piece. It's my first Dark Fantasy style artwork. Originally there was going to be a background but nothing I did looked right. I'm still not 100% satisfied with it but I do like it. February 21, 2004 Just tweaked the site a bit and added a no-frames page for those who still have old browsers and can't view frames. It's probably useless but it's early in the morning and I'm really bored. Also added a bio page. I may change it later or take it off...not sure how I like it just yet. February 20, 2004 Revamped the entire site in an attempt to make it look more professional. I may not get paid for what I do...yet...but at least I can look good doing it. :) February 18, 2004 Finally I'm totally over my slump. I just did this and I love it! Finally I get a pixie to look the way I want it too! hehe It was drawn with graphite and shaded really well. But, a drawing like that needs color. So, off to photoshop it went. :) February 14, 2004 Just finished a new piece finally. The orriginal was done in graphite and was almost converted to charcoal before I decided it needed color. Not wanted to redraw it on suitable paper to paint, I decided to try my hand at photoshop. This is my first color piece. November 15, 2003 Drew a new picture and decided to add it here. It's my first attempt at a fairy. I feel that I'll probably be doing a lot of different variations of this drawing. There are aspects to it that I couldn't do with the materials I used. Such as color. It's also reminding me how much I need to get that scanner. One of these days... October 8, 2003 Changed around the site some more. Basically, I'm trying to get it to look more and more professional yet still be me! lol October 7, 2003 Drew something new last night/this morning and uploaded it. Photo was taken with my camera. Still don't have a scanner. It's different. Not quite as detailed as I usually like to do when working with pencil. I also changed around the way the gallery looks (again). October 2, 2003 I've had the itch to draw but no materials! So, I played with the site a bit and changed some things in the gallery. Still don't have a scanner. *sigh* July 18, 2003 I am on a roll! I drew another picture of Orion today and added it to the gallery. Again, I used the webcam...so the quality of the jpeg isn't as good as it should be. Counting the days to getting a scanner. :D July 17, 2003 Drew another picture for Bret. Again I had to take a picture of it using webcam and it didn't come out so good. A lot of details are missing. But, in a few weeks I'll have my scanner! YAY! July 16, 2003: Drew a new picture last night of Orion and uploaded it today. Unfortunatly I'm out of batteries for my digital camera and we're low on money. So, you'll have to do with the webcam picture for a few weeks. lol July 15, 2003: Finally got the site uploaded. Not the server I was orriginally hoping for but oh well. I don't mind. Tripod is just as good. Planning on some more artowrk. A lot is buzzing in my mind. So, the gallery should be getting full in the next few weeks (as I upload them naturally). July 9, 2003: I finished the site! YAY! :D However, it's taking longer to upload it as the server I want accepts sites on a case by case basis. :D |
